My husband's blue eyes turn steely grey when he's angry (a good warning sign to me and the children). I've been told by my parents and siblings that my hazel eyes turn dark (almost black) when I'm telling a lie. With evidence like that I haven't had the nerve to test it in the last 30 years. J. Wright
