As part of the British Association For the Advancement of Science Week, there
will be a series of public lectures and meetings promoting the use of science
in medicine. One of these lectures will be held in Leeds on the 21st of March
1995. The time 19:30 - 20:30 in the Rupert Beckett lecture theatre. The speaker
will be Dr Graham Beestall, consultant clinical biochemist, Glasgow Royal
Infirmary.

The talk aims to be entertaining and provide an insight into what happens when
you have 'tests done' at the hospital. It is hoped that it will also be of use
to people considering a career in clinical science.

Further details of other meetings around the country or any other questions can
be asked by email to:-
