I would like to know some facts about DNA-fingerprinting !


How sensitive and reliable is DNA-fingerprinting ?

What samples are suitable ?

Could age of the sample, chemicals mixed with the specimen and heat disturb 
the reaction ?

Has DNA-fingerprinting become a routine-method in forensic medicine and is it 
still very expensive ?

Where do I find relevant literature about DNA-fingerprinting ?
