Dear Avi,
If I understand you question, yes, I can think of one "blood
test" off the top of my head which doesn't require anything sharp. It is
called Pulse Oxemetry, a test where the oxygen saturation of the blood
can be evaluated using a small light probe which clips on to the end of a
finger. It is not always 100% right, but alot of times it is used in the
hospital for an easy and non-invasive way to evaluate oxygen saturation.
