In the course of an investigation of acids in the apoplast of plant cells
using HPLC, we fpund a peak produced by quinic acid.
Does anybody have an idea (or recommend literature connected to the
subject-matter) of why quinic acid is found in the apoplast and what its
function there is?
Thanks for any info
