Secondary structure predictions for rRNA

Does anyone have a reference (preferably a review article) for the accuracy of
the secondary structure predictions for rRNA's? Specifically, all of these
drawings that show double stranded regions of rRNA (and 16S is the most common
one I have seen) are predictions based on a computer algorithm. Have any of
these predictions been verified experimentally - at least partially?
Thanks in advance...
