Using Bacterai to recycle Tires

I have been given  project to do which is too look into the possiblility
of using a bateria to recycle tires.  At the moment I have no idea 
where to look for information on this.  Can anyone help?? is there a 
bacteria known that can digest rubber and use it as a fuel?
