Biodegradable Snow Flakes

Yes, the motion picture industry is moving forward in their
efforts to maintain the environment when they are filming
outdoor snow scenes.  For past years, plastic flake was
normally used to simulate falling snow. Unfortunately, it
ended up in forest preserves, down rivers/streams, and other
places it did NOT BELONG.  
Now there is a material manufactured called BIO-SNOW 2 Flake
that is made from corn & cheese whey.  IF you would like any

Sturm was honored with an Academy Award for Scientific and
Technical Achievement last year March for the developments
in this area.
