Hello, everyone:
I am a post-doctoral fellow in Kansas University Medical Center. I am now
working with thioglycollate-elicited mouse peritoneal macrophages. I
found that, when I used TRIzol Reagent (GIBCO.BRL) to extract RNA from
these cells, I could not have the RNA pellet dissolved in water, probably
because of high levels of carbohydrates associated with the RNA. Does
anyone have other ideas of extracting RNA from this type of cells?
Please e-mail your response to: xzhang at kumc.edu
Thanks.
Charlotte
