liposomes/membrane fusion

Does anyone know the optimal conditions for the fusion of liposomes with
escherichia coli? Do I HAVE TO treat my bacteria with lysozyme and under
which circumstances should I perform the fusion of the liposomes? Any
suggestions are welcome or maybe a good review or reference article!
