HELP...having a bit of trouble understanding PHOTOSYNTHESIS and KREBS' CYCLE

Ok...quit laughing...it's not funny.

So I am finding them quite diffucult to understand.  Any fool can
memorize the cycles, but I would like a down to earth explination from
some of you people, as you are the authorities on the matter.  I am
trying to learn thermodynamics, photosynthesis, and the Krebs' cycle
over the Christmas holiday, so if you could offer anything...anything at
all, it would be greatly appreciated.
