Dear guys: I'm interested in GTPase superfamly. It's amazing a differnce in having or having not gamma-phosphate can result in such dramatic changes in the function of themember proteins in the superfamily. I guess the natural selection to favor the phosphate group must have some underlying advantages. Do you have some idea about it? M Yang
