Hi netters, Does anybody know of (or have!) a non-ionisable isostructural/isoelectronic (or near as dammit) analog of protonated nitric acid (H2O(+)NO2) that is stable in aqueous solution? Is there a close organic equivalent? Am I stuffed? Many thanks for any advice (as you can probably guess, I'm not a chemist!). Steve Dunn dunnsm at bbsrc.ac.uk
