CLAYOQUOT SOUND WILDERNESS PROPERTY - GROUP PURCHASE
We are seeking about 30 Conservation Minded People to participate
in the Group Purchase of a large property at Hot Springs Cove,
BC, Canada. Hotsprings Cove is situated in Clayoquot Sound on
the West Coast of Vancouver Island. Clayoquot Sound is famous
because it has one of the few remaining intact Ancient Temperate
Rainforests on the planet. An area of outstanding natural beauty
(the Hawaii of Canada), Clayoquot Sound offers fabulous outdoor
adventure, relaxation, and nature (yachting, scuba diving,
fishing, whale watching, wildlife viewing, birdwatching,
kayaking, and hiking). The property is situated on Openit
Peninsula, between Estevan Point on the Hesquiat Peninsula, and
Flores Island. Hotsprings Cove is 40 km north of the town of
Tofino, and the Pacific Rim National Park, which attracts
visitors a year from all over the world. Immediately adjacent to
the property is Hot Springs Cove (Maquinna) Provincial Park. The
property is in a magical setting, a stones throw from the
Pacific Ocean, with views to the snowy peaks of Strathcona
Provincial Park. You have a rare opportunity to participate in
the group purchase of this magnificant 206 acre property for
$30,000!
After purchasing the lot as an incorporated company, we intend to
subdivide it into 33 two acre strata title lots, with shared use
of the remaining 140 acres. The strata title is intended to
safeguard the scenic integrity of the property, and the Ancient
Forest that covers about 90% of it. Each lot will have at least
200 (60 m) of waterfront on Sydney Inlet, or Hot Springs Cove.
Our intention is to allow environmenatlly sensitive development
of cabins for retirement, retreat, holiday, or rental, on
individual lots, and perhaps a group lodge or cabins. The group
may also approve use of lots for small businesses based on nature
tours, ecotourism, outdoor activities, Bed and Breakfast, arts
and crafts, alternative health etc. There is a Hesquiat Band
settlement of 40 families on the opposite side of Hot Springs
Cove, with a small motel. The peninsula also houses a small
privately onwned campsite, and unoccupied Indian Reserve. Access
to Hot Springs Cove is by air or water only. Several companies
operate air and boat tours and taxi service out of Tofino. A
public dock provides access to the hotsprings.
Due to the urgency of finding 30 appropriate buyers, there is a
$2,000 incentive offered to people who sucessfully "sell" a share
to someone. PLEASE FORWARD THIS EMAIL TO APPROPRIATE PEOPLE AND
ORGANISATIONS!
