I am in charge of the nomination committee for the Madison Marshall award
in chemistry given by the North Alabama Local Section of the American
Chemical Society. Many of the awardees have gone on to win the Nobel prize
in Chemistry. For instance, three years ago the award went to Smally for
his work on fullerenes. Last year it went to Whiteside at Harvard. Who
are the top chemist out ther? I am seeking suggestions. You can e-mail me
at aamjxt01 at asnaam.aamu.edu or reply here at the newsgroup. Thanks!
