A friend of mine is working with steels high in antimony, and he would
liketo know about the hazard of this material.
At which temperatures does it evaporate, is it harmful if inhaled,
swallowed, or even on skin contact? What kind of reactions have to be
expected? What workplace concentratons can be tolerated? Does it
accumulate in the body?
The actual case is cast iron at up to 1500 degrees centigrade (2700
degrees Farenheit). If you have information, please post it here and/
or to sruhl at compuserve.com
Thanks in advance, Stefan Ruhl (sruhl at compuserve.com)
