Immune to microwaves?

The microwave intensity in an oven is by no means uniform.  If a
cockroach ran to the corner, he might not get heated very much. Also,
the cockroach is so thin from top to bottom that there might not be much
absorption of energy:  a cockroach may not be very "lossy"

Try a vacuum cleaner?
