And while we are at it, I have a perl
script that converts Melvyl emailed references
into Bibtek format.
Free to anyone who asks. It is designed to be part
of a mail filtering system such as procmail so
that when you email references to yourself, the
filtering pipes them through the perl script, which
makes a bibtek record, adds it to a designated
bibtek database, re-alphabetizes the database,
and throws out duplicate records.
This program is part of my favorite reference manager,
and it truly makes setting up a bibliography database
a snap for those using the world's most powerful
common document creator software - laTeX.
I could also be persuaded to hack it for other
record formats, if interest exists.
