Somtimes multiple or combination ABx (antibiotics) are given. Another reason
sometimes they are NOT given in multiple is that the side effects or
toxicity dangers can add up synergistically also. Some antibiotics are quite
safe, others are very potent and have potential toxic effects if overused.
