Hello,
We are working with sea sponges, and right now we would like to extract
DNA from these organisms'tissues.
We have been following standard protocols (including phenol chloroform
extraction), but we have had problems with various contaminants, maybe
from pigments or/and humic acids.
If anybody has had experience with DNA extraction from sea sponges and
would be willing to share it with us, it would be great. Any help would
be welcome.
Thanks,
