We have been using 4% Trevigel. It can resolve fragments (we are usually
dealing with PCR products of about 100-300bp) that differ by about 5bp (2-3
if you look really closely). Haven't tried running higher % Trevigel, but
it is difficult enough to get it into solution as it is (need to boil it for
about 5-6 minutes).
