I would like to obtain various subcellular compartments of
skeletal muscle fibres (cells), such as the nucleus, mitochondria,
sarcoplasmic reticulum, myofibrills, etc, with the aim of checking
these compartments for certain proteins using SDS-PAGE.
If anyone is able, could you please direct me to resources on
how to obtain the subcellular fractions (I'm really looking for
practical information rather than theory).
Thanks
