We are seeing increasing numbers of red tailed hawks with deformed beaks.
On histopathology we see segments and eggs of Capillaria-like worms in the
epithelium
(rhampo theca) of the beak.
Has anyone seen this before?
Do not find this in the literature so far
Many thanks
Please respond to bionet and to my email
