Conference Subject
The meeting is to advance understanding, foster
communication, and explore the organization of a Society dealing
with those fields of research that have come to be summarized in
the term BIOMATRIX.
The program will consist of invited papers, poster sessions
and workshops. Anyone wishing to present a poster or workshop
should submit a one-page abstract to the above address before
May 1, 1990. Persons wishing to give workshops should state
hardware and software requirements.

Sunday, July 8, 4:00-8:00 p.m. and
Monday, July 9, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Transportation
AIRPORTS: Two airports serve the GMU area and both provide
frequent flights to and from most U.S. and international cities
as well as foreign currency exchanges.
*Dulles International Airport is closer to the GMU campus. A
one-way taxi fare to the campus is approximately $25-30. Public
transportation is via a bus to the West Falls Church Metro
Station, Metro to the Vienna stop and CUE bus to the campus.
*Washington National Airport is accessible by the Washington
Metro subway system to the Vienna stop and CUE bus to campus.
DRIVING: George Mason University is accessible from the Capital
Beltway (I-495) or Interstate 66. From 495, take Braddock Road
(Exit 620 West) and enter the campus at Roanoke Lane. From I-66,
take Chain Bridge Road (Rt. 123 South) through the City of
Fairfax. Turn left on University Drive and turn right into the
campus on Pohick Lane.
Once on campus, follow the signs to Parking Lot E if you are
staying in the dormitories or Parking Lot B if you are attending
only the conference sessions. Campus parking permits will be
distributed at the conference registration desk.
REGISTRATION INFORMATION

appropriate amount to the address indicated below. Registration
should be received by June 8, 1990. Requests for refunds of
prepaid enrollments will be honored if received 10 days prior to
the start of the conference; however, substitutions may be made
at any time.
