The upcoming international Biomatrix meeting will include a panel on
electronic facilitation of scientific communication in biology.
Potential topics of interest are use of bulletin boards and electronic
mail, international collaborations using electronic means
(particularly with Eastern Europe or Japan), use of computers to share
resources, the sociology and politics of electronic publishing, and
other related issues.
This is a call for participation in that panel. The conference will
be in Washington D.C. July 9-11. Generous travel support is
available. To be considered for inclusion on this panel, please send
a brief statement of proposed presentation and your relevant
