Subject: everything in the world on biosimulation

A recent request for information on biological simulation has
lead me to post the following information for those interested in
this area:

The University of Texas System CHPC maintains two databases. The
first is the GenTools Computational Methods In Molecular Biology and
Genetics database. This is a database of over 2,000 literature citations
having to do with computational issues arising in molecular biology and
genetics. It can be obtained by requesting it from the following
email address -

                   GENTOOLS at CHPC.UTEXAS.EDU

Submissions to the database are always welcome and should be directed to

Dr. Sarah Barron
Group Leader, Computational Molecular Biology and Genetics Group
UT System Center For High Performance Computing
Balcones Research Center, 1.154 CMS
10100 Burnet Road, Austin, TX 78758-4497 USA
Internet: sarah at chpc.utexas.edu
Faxnet : (512) 471-2445
Phonenet: (512) 471-2472

Electronic submissions may be sent to the GENTOOLS e-mail address
above. The GenTools project can handle electronic manuscripts in the
.TEX, .DVI, .PS and .ASCII format right now. We are trying to exend
our capability.

Also maintained here is a database on Computational Health Sciences
and Medicine. This database contains approximately 1,000 literature
citations having to do with high performance computing in biology,
the life sciences, and medicine. Topics of interest include, though are
not limited to:

	-medical imaging
	-molecular visualization
	-simulation visualization
	-microscopy
        -medical visualization
        -computational medicine
        -dentistry
        -veterinary medicine
        -allied health sciences
	-computational physiology and metabolism
	-computational pharmacology, pharmacodynamics, drug design
	-computational chemistry
	-demography, epidemiology, and statistics/biostatistics
	-disease modeling
	-cell biology
	-radiology
	-surgery
	-cardiology
-renal function, brain modeling, neurophysiology, bone modeling
         joint modeling
        -issues in teaching

I am also interested in receiving names and addresses of individuals
working in areas related to the above list.

Those who are interested in submitting to the Computational Biology
and Medicine/Health Sciences database should send the mail directly
to me at the following address -
