sticky surfaces

hi! 
I am a new subscriber to the news group. I have run into a small problem. 
I want to do some surface staining of HaCat, an epithelial cell line for 
a FACS scan. The Problem now is that my cells dissociate only in th 
presence of trypsin and consequently most of my cell surface markers , 
receptors get chewed up. could you suggest me some way of getting a 
single cell suspension with my cell surface molecules intact for a FACS scan.
