Repair Downtime for PIR Server, On-line System, and Network Access

            Announcement of Temporary Interruption of Access to
                   The Protein Identification Resource

The National Biomedical Research Foundation will be attempting to repair
hardware and install new software beginning on Tuesday 11 August.  We hope
to have the computer system back on-line by Friday 14 August.  From 16:00 EDT
Tuesday 11 August through about 12:00 EDT Friday 14 August it will not be
possible for users to access either the Protein Identification Resource
Network Server or On-line System.

Please, do not send requests to FILESERV at GUNBRF from 11 August through
13 August.

We regret any inconvenience this temporary loss of service will cause.
