To obtain Authorin 3.0 for the Macintosh by FTP:

Authorin 3.0 for the Macintosh can now be obtained by anonymous FTP
from net.bio.net (Internet address 134.172.2.69). It is located in the
file pub/mac/authorin/Authorin3.0.sea.hqx. This file is a binhexed
self-extracting archive. After transferring the file to your
Macintosh, you will need to use BinHex 4.0 to create a Authorin3.0.sea
(CompactPro (tm) self-extracting archive) file. Click on the .sea
file to begin the final extraction process. This creates an
Authorin3.0 folder which contains the application and associated
files.

Authorin 3.0 is compatible with Macintosh System 7 operating system.

If you use an IBM PC-compatible computer you can also use the Authorin
program. Release 1.2 for the IBM is available for FTP in the directory
pub/dos/authorin.

Authorin includes extensive on-line help. In addition, postscript
versions of the user manual and other documentation are available for
FTP in the doc subdirectory (pub/mac/authorin/doc). A hard copy
version of the manual will also be sent on request. If you need help
preparing your submisssion or would like to receive documentation,
call toll-free 1-800-477-2459, or send a message to
authorin at net.bio.net.

NOTE: If you obtain Authorin by FTP and would like to to be notified of
future software updates, please send a message containing your name,
postal and e-mail addresses to authorin at net.bio.net. (Be sure to
indicate that you obtained the program by FTP and whether you obtained
the IBM-PC or Macintosh version.)

We hope you find Authorin a useful tool for submitting your sequence data.
