Topic: THE CELL CYCLE: REGULATORS, TARGETS AND CLINICAL APPLICATIONS
The symposium will include talks by invited speakers as well as
contributed oral and poster presentations in following major areas of
research:
1. G0/G1 transition
2. G1/S transition (control of DNA replication, etc.)
3. mitosis: induction and mechanics (regulation of mitosis and changes
in cell architecture)
4. cell cycle-dependent transcription/ post-transcriptional regulation
5. cell cycle regulaton in development (embryogenesis, differentiation,
senescence, apoptosis)
6. cell cycle regulation in carcinogenesis and other diseases
7. clinical applications of cell cycle analysis and intervention
