A new look in 1993!

BINARY - Computing in Microbiology has been relaunched in 1993
and is now published by BioLine at the University of Wales,
Cardiff, UK.

BINARY was first published in 1984 as a quarterly in-house
journal of the Society for General Microbiology's Computer Club. In
1989 both the Computer Club and BINARY underwent a
metamorphosis: the former became the Computer User's Group, a
fully-fledged group within the formal structure of the SGM and
BINARY, although still affiliated to the SGM, was published
bimonthly by Academic Press.
