RAPD newsgroup passes - 117 Yes to 2 NO

The RAPD newsgroup has been approved by the voters, 117 to 2.  We will
proceed to create the USENET newsgroup bionet.molbio.rapd and the
following mailing lists:

Mailing addresses:  rapd at daresbury.ac.uk
                    rapd at net.bio.net

E-mail subscriptions can be requested from either of the two addresses
below *AFTER* an announcement appears in this forum indicating that
the newsgroup is ready for operation.  Subscribers to the current
RAPD-L list will be transferred either to net.bio.net or
daresbury.ac.uk depending upon their location.  If any RAPD-L
subscribers also have access to USENET they may want to contact the
appropriate address below after the list is established and request
cancellation of their e-mail subscription.
