At the request of Tim Littlejohn we are assuming administrative
responsibility for two mailing lists that he ran previously: BIOGOPHER
and STADEN-USERS.  From the revised BIOSCI info sheet:

biogopher at net.bio.net	A communication forum for all Bio-Gopher
                          administrators.
staden-users at net.bio.net Discussions about the Staden Package for
                          molecular sequence analysis.

DO NOT SEND SUBSCRIPTION REQUESTS TO THE ADDRESSES ABOVE - THEY ARE
ONLY TO BE USED FOR POSTINGS TO *EVERYONE* ON THE MAILING LIST!!

Note that these are prototype newsgroups (mailing lists only) and are
thus available only through net.bio.net for a six month trial period.
Therefore you can subscribe by e-mail, regardless of your geographical
location, by sending either or both of the lines below

subscribe staden-users

to the Internet address biosci-server at net.bio.net.  Please leave the
Subject: line of your message blank.  To cancel your subscription,
please send either or both of the lines:
