ANNOUNCING WWW AT THE BAYLOR COLLEGE OF MEDICINE GENOME CENTER
The Baylor College of Medicine Genome Center now has a WWW server:
The Biologist's Control Panel - A good jumping off point for any molecular
biologist interested in accessing network resources. Some of the links
are biased toward the needs of local researchers, but most features will
be generally useful.
Genome Center Data - Allows searches of the Baylor College of Medicine
Genome Center YAC screening data. Currently there are about 2000 YACs
identified from 450 screening experiments. This data is updated
nightly. The results are linked to available external (CEPH-Genethon)
mapping data. Data from other Genome Center labs will be made available
here in the future.
CEPH-Genethon Data Interface - A forms-based interface to search and browse
the latest genetic and physical map data from CEPH-Genethon. The data may
be searched by locus, marker, STS or YAC. CEPH YACs which have also
been mapped at BCM are identified and linked to local data.
