Gene-Server down Fri 6PM to Sunday 4PM

Due to another power outage at the University of Houston, the UH
Gene-Server will be down from 6 PM Friday June 10th until about 4PM
Sunday, June 12th.

The following services will be affected:

ftp.bchs.uh.edu - no anonymous FTP
gopher.bchs.uh.edu - the PIR gopher retrieval
www.bchs.uh.edu - no Web access to PIR and FTP archives
gene-server at bchs.uh.edu - e-mail messages will not be processed.  They
        may be bounced back to you or held until the Gene-Server comes
        back up.

This is the last planned power outage for the summer; there will be
several in the fall.
