!!!!! Calling all scientists (frocked and defrocked), doctors, students  
(of any age, inclination and capacity), teachers (of any capacity,  
inclination, and age), writers, engineers, convicted felons, Ig Nobel  
laureates, economists, and other devotees and practitioners of science  
humor!!!!!!!!!!!!!  
  
JIR's editor and co-conspirators are barnstorming the U.S.,   
doing readings/seminars/slide shows from the new JIR book,   
"Sex As a Heap of Malfunctioning Rubble (and further improbabilities),"  
and gathering nominations for this year's Ig Nobel Prizes.  
 
WHAT  
The tour will feature readings/seminars/slide shows of:  
	<> Classic works from The Journal of Irreproducible Results (JIR),  
	   the world's oldest, largest, best known science humor  
journal. 
	<> Highlights from the Ig Nobel Prize Ceremonies, mounted annually  
	   by JIR and The MIT Museum to honor "achievements that cannot  
	   or should not be reproduced."   
	<> Current irreproducible research from local scientists.
