The BioMOO will be holding a conference on 6-3-94, 1200 EDT, 1600 
Greenwich Mean Time to discuss the topic outlined below.  To get to the 
BioMOO, telnet to:

The meeting will be held in the seminar room.  

BioMOO is a virtual reality community of biological scientists on the 
linternet.  To learn more about it, read the article recently published 
in Science (264:900-901. May 13, 1994).

Yacco will be hosting a planning seesion/ brainstorming event for his 
Inter-lab project concept on 6-3-94 at 1200 EST (1600 GMT).  It will 
start out in the Seminar room.  Everyone bring a covered dish! 


                         The Inter-Lab Project Concept.
                            a.k.a The Mol. Biol. Tour.
Concept: A virtual experiment in which sub-elements occur in various rooms
         of appropriate fields of study throughout BioLand.

Functions: Primary: A teaching aid. To demonstrate the typical steps of a
                    scientific investigation and uses in Real Life.
         Secondary: Orientation aid. To introduce players to examples of
                    the facilities available within BioLand, their rooms 
                    and usage.

Working example: To diagnose, locate, map, clone, analyse, characterise
                 and cure a genetic disease.
