BIOSCI Newsgroups - Changes

The following new newsgroups were created.  Please check the BIOSCI
info sheet in a subsequent posting for details:

ASCB/bionet.prof-society.ascb      Announcements from The American
                                   Society for Cell Biology

BIO-WWW/bionet.software.www        Announcements about new information
                                   resources in biology which can be
                                   accessed via electronic networked 
                                   information retrieval software

FASEB/bionet.prof-society.faseb    Announcements from the Federation
                                   of American Societies for
                                   Experimental Biology 

The EMF-BIO prototype newsgroup passed a vote of the readership and
became a full BIOSCI newsgroup (USENET newsgroup and mailing lists at
net.bio.net and daresbury.ac.uk).

The following prototype newsgroups (temporary mailing lists set up
prior to a newsgroup vote in six months) were created.  Please refer
to the end of the BIOSCI info sheet for details about prototype
newsgroups:

amyloid at net.bio.net     Discussions about research on amyloid protein
                          and Alzheimer's disease.

schisto at net.bio.net     Discussions about research on Schistosoma.
