HUMAN DIVERSITY COLLECTION
The National Institute of General Medical Sciences' (NIGMS) Human Genetic
Mutant Cell Repository has available for distribution Human Diversity
Collection DNA and lymphoblastoid cell lines. This collection contains both
males and females from the following populations: Amerindian, Cambodian,
Chinese, Druze, Japanese, Melanesian, and Pygmy. The Amerindian population
includes individuals from the Surui, Mayan, Karitiana, Quechua, Auca, Jemez
Pueblo, and Cheyenne Indians. The Pygmy collection includes Biaka and Mbuti
Pygmies. For the most part, this collection represents a subset of the
Yale-Stanford collection. Additional information is available through an
online catalog reached via Internet. Telnet to coriell.umdnj.edu. At the
