ALZHEIMER DISEASE CULTURES USED TO CLONE THE AD3 GENE AVAILABLE FOR
DISTRIBUTION

    The National Institute on Aging (NIA) Aging Cell Repository has
available for distribution cell cultures from three of the extended
pedigrees used to clone the AD3 gene for early onset Alzheimer disease
[Sherrington et al. Nature 375: 754-760 (1995)]. Affected and
unaffected members of FAD1 (the Canadian Alzheimer disease pedigree),
FAD2 (the German Alzheimer disease pedigree) and FAD4 (the Italian
Alzheimer disease pedigree) are included in the Aging Cell Repository
