38th Conference on Great Lakes Research
May 28 - June 1, 1995
The International Association for Great Lakes Research will hold
the 38th Conference on Great Lakes Research at the Kellogg Center on
the campus of Michigan State University, May 28 - June 1, 1995.
The purpose of the conference is to exchange information on all aspects
of research applicable to the understanding of large lakes of the world
and to the human societies surrounding them. The conference will be of
interest to scientists in all areas of environmental and natural science.
Over twenty-five special symposia are scheduled. Topics include physical
dynamics, causality and risk assessment, atmospheric processes, global
change record in lakes, food chain transfers, wetlands research, contaminated
sediments, toxicology, and exotic species. Pre-registration is encouraged.
Program details will be published in the Association's April "Lakes Letter"
newsletter.
