******** Improving risk assessment with time-to-event models *********
A SETAC(UK) meeting will be held on Wednesday April 1 at Horticulture
Research International, Warwickshire, UK to consider the analysis of
time-to-event data. A demonstration of methods will be followed by morning
talks focussing on approaches used in a range of disciplines. These will
encourage cross-fertilisation of ideas. The afternoon will be devoted to
talks considering the role of time-to-event analysis in ecotoxicology.
Invited speakers:
Mike Newman (Virginia Institute of Marine Sciences)
John Fenlon (Horticulture Research International)
Bryan Manly (University of Otago)
Max Parmar (Medical Research Council)
Simon Pack (Proctor & Gamble)
Alan Kimber (University of Surrey)
Mark Crane (University of London)
Phil Dixon (Savannah River Ecology Lab).
A two day workshop for invited delegates will follow to critically examine
the role of such methods in toxicity testing.
