Transgenic meeting in Beijing, China. October, 1998.

Dear Colleagues,

The Second International Conference on Transgenic Animals (Oct. 26-29, 1998, 
Beijing, China) is coming together well. While the participation list is still 
growing, there has been some confusion as to the deadline for abstract 
submissions.  The date listed on the Abstract form is May 1, 1998 and in the 
registration brochure as August 31, 1998.  While abstracts will be accepted 
through August 31st, the earlier they can be forwarded - the better from an 
organizational standpoint.  Please note that registrations will be limited to 
200 and that foreign participants will need an entry visa from a Chinese 
Embassy (which will require a formal Conference invitation).
