Title: ICDD Workshop at EPDIC-7

The International Centre for Diffraction Data has organized a one-day
workshop for EPDIC-7.  Dr. Ron Jenkins and Dr. John Faber will present
the workshop on Saturday, May 20, 2000.  Participation in the workshop
is free for all EPDIC-7 registered participants.  Topics will
include: “Application of Crystallographic Databases to Materials”
and “Effective Use of Retrieval Software for the PDF: Alphabetical,
Hanawalt and Fink Searches”.

EPDIC-7, the 7th European Powder Diffraction Conference, will be held
in Barcelona, Spain from May 20 to May 23, 2000.  The three day
conference covers many aspects of powder diffraction. For further EPDIC-
