The Sanger Centre is pleased to announce the availability of a new
release of Artemis.

Artemis is a free DNA sequence viewer and annotation tool which is
capable of reading and writing complete EMBL and Genbank entries.

The main improvement since the last public release is the ability to
read
and write Genbank and GFF files. There have also been many small bug
fixes and improvements, most of which are upwardly compatible. A full
list of changes is here:
     http://www.sanger.ac.uk/Software/Artemis/v3/changes.shtml

  feature tables.
