Bioinformatics Comparative Molecular Phylogenetics Workshop

George Mason University, School of Computational Sciences at Prince
William Campus is delivering a hands-on, bioinformatics workshop on
Comparative Molecular Phylogenetics.  This course will cover applying
comparative evolutionary techniques to molecular data and will include
an introduction to all of the major aspects of analyzing genetic data in
a phylogenetic framework including: obtaining information from data
banks, aligning the sequences, and building trees using numerous methods.

This workshop is offered on May 8 - 10, 2002
