The MSc in Bioinformatics at the University of Manchester, England, is well established
and leads to a qualification widely recognised in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical
industries. Web-based options make the individual modules available to those wishing
to study part-time.

The courses begin in October and March. The introductory modules beginning in
October 2002 are now full, but there are still a few places available on the advanced
module Bioinformatics 2. This module covers Post Genomic Bioinformatics, focussing
on microarray data analysis. Applicants should have some experience of
bioinformatics.

The module fee for 2002/2003 is £600. You will find further information
