Teaching Associate
Biological Sciences
University of Missouri-Rolla

The University of Missouri-Rolla invites applications for a Teaching
Associate position in the Department of Biological Sciences to begin
Fall Semester 2003.  Candidates must have a Masters degree in a
biology-related field.  We are seeking applicants who have documented
evidence of work-related experience in the following areas:

Setup, execution, and instruction of undergraduate level Cellular
Biology laboratory course.
Setup, execution, and instruction of undergraduate level Zoology
laboratory course.
Full responsibility for undergraduate level General Biology lecture
course.
Supervision of undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants.

The successful candidate will have primary responsibility for the
laboratory portion of the Cellular Biology and Zoology courses, teach
the lecture portion of General Biology, provide support to
undergraduate and graduate teaching assistants, and coordinate
equipment and supplies for all other laboratory courses in the
department including General Biology, Plant Biology, Microbiology,
Anatomy, Physiology, and Molecular Genetics.  Additional information

Deadline for receipt of all application material is July 25, 2003.
