Well, it was ironic but unintended. Seems the news system somehow ate my

Agree strongly with the preceding post. Alternatively, I propose creation
of a new newsgroup, "bionet.interminable-quibbling", where discussions such
as the great FAQ math format controversey may be carried on ( or, preferably,
carried away...). No flames please, I shall not be moved. No admonitions to
use a kill file either; the solution to the problem should be applied at
the source(s), the point being that we simply shouldn't need to be concerned
with this stuff. Bye.
