I think that it would be a very nice approach *IF* one can do the
experiments. Getting steady state measurements is tough enough, but
if you can make measurements at close enough intervals with reasonable
accuracy, then this method extracts data from the kinetics of the
process directly, and I like the idea of using this transient info.
